From application to harvest — the 7-step lifecycle of a fostered coffee tree.

7-step lifecycle

STEP 1

Submit fostering application

Individuals or enterprises apply via web/app. Select plan (single/multi/batch), fill in shipping address and reward preference (beans / cash / mixed). Enterprise users add ESG reporting requirements.

STEP 2

Smart matching

System matches fosterer with an available aeroponic cultivator at a venue (hotel / cafe / farm). Matching considers device capacity, geography, varietal fit, and expected carbon reduction.

STEP 3 — FOSTERING PERIOD (6-18 MONTHS)

Real-time reduction trajectory

Three data streams pushed to fosterer: carbon reduction trajectory (daily/weekly/monthly CO₂), growth visualization (timelapse + biomass), and community interaction (messages, achievements, leaderboard).

STEP 4

Harvest & processing

Cherries harvested by venue operator. System records batch. Processing includes dehulling, roasting (light/medium/dark), and packaging with fosterer-exclusive carbon label + QR traceability code.

STEP 5

Outcome distribution

Channel A (beans): roasted beans shipped to fosterer. Channel B (cash): beans enter market, 40% revenue auto-settled to wallet. Channel C (carbon): credits + ESG report delivered.

STEP 6

Hotel proxy shipping

Hotel attributes in-stay carbon reduction to guest account. On checkout, hotel ships beans to guest's home/company with a personalized carbon certificate.
